Strak heh?
Ja de kast natuurlijk (anno 04-07, SOZ design-department),maar het draait om die knalroze W.
Voor Wimby maakte ik er uiteindelijk 20 de afgelopen weken.Intens gehaat heb ik ze, mijn opdrachtgevers.
Want om ze te doen staan, wat een eis was. De W fungeerde als award, bij de opening van de tentoonstelling over het Wimby-project, afgelopen vrijdag in Booijmans, diende ze gevuld te worden met bolletjes...witte, kleine, statische bolletjes, en heel veel ervan.
Nu ben ik niet zo hatelijk normaal,
maar na heel veel van die bolletjes, overal,
zag ik het ff niet meer zitten en was ik blij dat ze de deur uit konden.
Ik kan voorlopig geen lakstoffen en dierenprint/lak/nep suede-paspelband meer zien.Pretty tight don't you think?
No, I don't mean the bookcase (est. 04-'07) SITA-design department), but the big neonpink W.
I made 20 of these for WIMBY in the last fortnight. The W was meant to be used as an award in the opening ceremony of the exhibition about the WIMBY-project in Boijmans last friday. They had to be stuffed with millions of little white static polystyrene balls to make them stand up on their own.
No I am not a hateful person really,
but after loads and loads of those little white balls, everywhere,
I got slightly snowed under and was glad to send all 20 of them on their way.
For now, I am done with lackered fabric and animalprint/lacker/fake suede-piping for a while.
